At The Garden, we are constantly working to be as inclusive and accessible as possible.

We are committed to ensuring that artists and audiences of all abilities can make the most of our program. We are always keen to explore new access initiatives and welcome your feedback!

Access is a top priority for us, and we’ll be more than happy to help.

Facilities

All our venues in The Garden have step-free access and are wheelchair accessible.  Where possible, accessible entry points are located at main venue entrance.

When booking please provide any details of the access requirements you require.  If you need to inform us post booking  please email us at access@gardenofunearthlydelights.com.au or call us at 08 7200 3867.

Accessible Toilets are available on site.

The Garden is located adjacent to designated accessible parking bays.

If you would like to discuss alternative access to The Garden or dropping off patrons and large groups, please contact us at access@gardenofunearthlydelights.com.au

Guide dogs and assistance animals are welcome in all venues. We can offer you an aisle seat, and let you know about any special effects that might affect your dog.

We have a range of access performances available as well as additional support for all our shows.

Auslan Interpreted

Shows that have an Auslan Interpreted performance are listed below – this list is constantly being added to, so please check back often! The Auslan Interpreted performance date is also listed on each show page under the Show Details section.

Relaxed Performances

These performances allow for noise and movement in the auditorium, as well as re-entry for anyone who may need time away from the performance.

We welcome everyone of all skills and abilities to join us! If you have a special access requirement such as your child has a developmental condition or requires mobility equipment, please list your request in the ‘Access Requirements’ section of the booking page so we can make adjustments.

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a globally-recognised symbol for non-visible disabilities. All staff and volunteers have completed training to understand how to support people who wear the Sunflower.

Booking a ticket

To ensure that the Garden can provide you with the best customer service, if you require any accessibility service for shows sold through the Garden’s Box Office, please email access@gardenofunearthlydelights.com.au or call us at 08 7200 3867 for more information.

Once you arrive at the venue, please make yourself known to Front of House staff.

If you are deaf, or have a hearing impairment or speech impairment, contact us through the National Relay Service.

If you require a companion to accompany you to the venue we accept the Companion Card.

Companion Card tickets can be booked in person or by phone. Should you require the assistance of a companion or carer to attend events or venues, The Garden will issue a second ticket.
